The Higgs Boson (aka „The God Particle“ or „Goddamn Particle“) is a theoretical particle which has been deduced as a result of the Standard Model of particle physics. However Peter Higgs - the eponym of the boson - sometimes likes to wear a blouson, which this song is about. By the way, Peter‘s father worked as a sound engineer for the BBC.
